Matthew is a certified paralegal and a graduate of the University of San Diego Paralegal Program. He has been working in the legal profession for approximately 20 years and has a background in civil litigation and trial preparation, criminal defense, personal injury matters, bankruptcy, and family law. Since coming to work for Cohelan Khoury & Singer in 2005, Matthew has gained considerable experience in class action practice and procedure, with his legal practice focused solely on class action cases, particularly consumer and employment related matters.
On a daily basis, Matthew interacts with clients, class members, and defense counsel. He has assisted in the creation of mediation damage models, drafted discovery requests and responses, drafted motions and pleadings, and conducted extensive document review. Additionally, he has assisted in the annual update of California Class Actions written by Timothy D. Cohelan.
